Club Membership

Club Membership year runs from 1 January to 31 December each year.

Club membership entitles you to full use of the club facilities, club house and the various training events on the club program.

Guests are welcome and will not need to pay if they join us for the occasional run.

New members pay on joining. Existing members can pay at the beginning of the year.

WPA / ASA membership

Licence Number

Full membership fees include a Licence Fee to WPA/ASA.
This means you receive a Licence Number and are no longer liable for Temporary Licence Fees on race days.
The Licence issued in any year is valid until 31 January the following year, to facilitate any slight delay in renewal over the December / January period.

Fees for 2026

For 2026, our very wise treasurer said we must keep our membership fees the same as for 2025 and 2024 - no increases for 2 years! Who are we to argue 😅

These fees include your 2026 ASA licence number that you will need for WPA sanctioned races.
Single member - licensed: R575
Couples membership - licensed: R1050
Full time students up to age 30 with student number - licensed: R385
Social member (no ASA licence number): R395

How do I join?

Please follow the steps carefully below:

Step 1... Register

Download the ASA (Athletics South Africa) membership form. This is for your race number.

Click here to get the 2026 form
Complete this form.

Forward this completed form to Wendy Harrison wendyh@iafrica.com

Step 2… Payment

Please perform an Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) into the following account based on the appropriate fees listed above.

Step 3… Email

Please email proof of payment to Wendy Harrison wendyh@iafrica.com
You will then receive an email confirming your number is available for pick up at the club

Step 4… Collect

You will only be given your ASA license number when we have received proof of payment
Please come and fetch your number (check Club Activities for club opening times)
It will be waiting for you near the bar in an envelope with your name on it :-)
